Request submitted by Dr [ ] (Suspended) for retired subject [ ](promoted) to transfer departments post classification of subject test failure. Request approved by TitariumLabs Test Department Manager Dr [ ](Terminated).
Representative training scheduled, contract updated, signed.
Retired subject [ ](promoted) commences new position within Representative Department as of 0000000000/00 0/000000000/0 0 0 0000 0 0.
Warning issued by Representative Department Manager Dr [ ]:
Dr [ ],
Urgent concerns have been raised post review of behavioral report in regard to newly transferred representative ([ ]).
Our studies show that his physical appearance causes unease with our mature subjects and fear with our juvenile subjects. We’ve found that prolonged exposure between unhappy subjects and representative causes unstable and unreliable results with test subject’s submitted data. Reported data detail subjects feeling “intimidated” and “uneasy” in presence of representative.
Prior to writing, I’ve also received an incident report from the representative’s assigned counselor. During an introductory session of exposure therapy between representative and a mirror, representative’s counselor details representative to have become enraged and violent. Counselor’s mirror was destroyed, during an attempt to calm representative, representative further damaged the mirror and attempted to use a shard to lacerate counselor’s neck. Representative was quick to apologise and fled back to assigned room. Counselor’s medical report details attack to have missed, resulting in a deep wound to the inner-elbow region as a result. (Expect a resignation from counselor soon)
As a result, I’ve found it in the best interest of maintaining purity in our tests to pull representative until after your review. I would personally find it reassuring for your review to be in-person with representative.
Please respond as soon as possible, I worry for the safety of my department.
Representative Department Manager,
Dr [ ]
Dr [ ], arranged a physical review, a further incident involving security assigned to representative’s room and representative has pushed for an emergency review arrangement.
Dr [ ], arrives at location, representative apprehended and restrained in procedure room. Reresentative restrained for 15 hours prior to arrival of Dr [ ].
Recording archived, transcript available:
[Representative lays motionless on table, restraints in place, security is dismissed when Dr [ ] enters. Dr [ ] rolls chair toward table, sits next to representative’s head area.]
DR [ ]:
“[ ], how are we?”
REPRESENTATIVE:
“He called you here?”
DR [ ]:
“He did.”
[Representative turns head slightly and looks to Dr [ ] with working eye.]
REPRESENTATIVE:
“I really messed up.”
[Dr [ ] sighs before answering, crosses his legs and leans back in the chair with his arms folded.]
DR [ ]:
“Mhmm.”
REPRESENTATIVE:
[Quietly] “… Really messed up.”
DR [ ]:
“What happened [ ]? You were doing really well, you said you felt ready for mirrors, were you lying?”
REPRESENTATIVE:
“No, no! I wasn’t!” [Representative pulls against left wrist restraints.] “What did he say? You know me, he lies about everything!”
DR [ ]:
“I do know you, and I know that you wouldn’t hurt anyone.” [Representative stops pulling against restraints, goes still.] “But, [ ], I also know Dr [ ] wouldn’t lie about something like this… So why are you?”
REPRESENTATIVE:
“I’m going to be scheduled for maintenance, aren’t I?”
DR [ ]:
“If you don’t want maintenance, why did you do it?”
REPRESENTATIVE:
“I don’t know.”
[Silence passes between them, minutes pass before representative speaks again.]
REPRESENTATIVE:
“Please don’t let them put me back, I promise I’ll be good, I won’t do it again.”
DR [ ]:
“I can’t just take your word like that, you’ve shown that you’re not who you used to be. You’re too reactive, [ ], too intense. Dr [ ] said that he doesn’t know what to do with you anymore.”
REPRESENTATIVE:
[Begins crying] “Please, you know I can be good, really good. I can do it, I know I can, I can help somebody.”
DR [ ]:
“[ ]-”
REPRESENTATIVE:
“I-if I mess up again, you can terminate me, just give me one more chance, just one!”
[DR [ ] doesn’t respond, representative turns to the ceiling and continues to cry.]
REPRESENTATIVE:
“I’ll sign the termination contract, the one you gave to [ ](Terminated), I know I can do this- I’ll stop being a problem.”
DR [ ]:
“You’ll sign it?”
REPRESENTATIVE:
“I’ll sign it in blood if I have to, please, it’s all I want.”
DR [ ]:
“[ ], you have to mean it, one more strike-”
REPRESENTATIVE:
“-And I’m gone, vanished, scrubbed, whatever you want.”
[There’s a pause before Dr [ ] speaks.]
DR [ ]:
“If you really mean it, I have an applicant.”
REPRESENTATIVE:
[Turns to look at Dr [ ] with working eye] “I’ll do it.”
DR [ ]:
“They’ve got an incredibly low success probability, it’s a definite failure.”
REPRESENTATIVE:
[Stops crying, sniffs]“I can do it.”
DR[ ]:
“DR [ ] isn’t going to go easy on you if you go back to the representative department, [ ], you know that he already blamed you for what happened. What you’re asking is suicide, and you know it.”
REPRESENTATIVE:
“It’d be better.”
[DR [ ] pulls chair closer to representative and begins freeing neck from restraint.]
DR [ ]:
“If you’re sure.”
